So.  “They” say January is the worst month for depression.  “They” say that January — with its gray weather, after-the-holidays letdown, back-to-workness (don’t try to tell me it’s not a word — you see it on this page, don’t you???), the fact that the Christmas debt is making its way to the mailbox, and the fact that for all the resolving and happy new yearing, not much has changed, really — is really bad for those who suffer from depression and pretty darn bad for those that don’t.

“They” are right.
