One of the greatest things I have discovered about my little circle of blog friends is that they really, really come together when called upon. And that just rocks my world. Whether you are religious and believe in the power of prayer, and particularly the exceptional power of the prayer of many at the same time, or you are not particularly religious but believe in the power of positive energy being directed toward a common goal, you’ve all risen to the occasion when called.

And with that very wordy foreword, you are once again being called upon to direct whatever you believe in toward one of my oldest blog friends, Dr. Syn. The good doctor had a household accident back in early October, and, as Murphy’s Law has allowed, that simple household accident has multiplied and grown horns. Dr. Syn is currently in the hospital and needs as much as you can send him, guys.

So here’s what I want you to do. Go to his site. If you have time and want to get up to speed on what’s been going on, scroll down to his October 9 post and then read up. His wife has taken over the posting duties and is doing a wonderful job of keeping us up to date.  If you don’t have time to read it all, just know that his family is seeing to it that he hears about your comments, so please, please, please go leave a kind word in the comments section. And pray. Or send good thoughts. Or whatever it is you’ve done in the past that made me love you all to pieces.
