Is it just me, or
- is Victoria Beckham actually starting to make Paris Hilton more likeable? (How scary is that, anyway?)
- is this just funny as hell? (Tiff, honey? Instant-message me and I’ll tell you who these guys are!)
- is it just damned unfair that the smell of popcorn can kill ya?
- isn’t it kind of ridiculous that the earlybirds that bought iPhones are now ticked off that the prices went down? Because, like, duh. (Actually, it’s not ridiculous, as Apple has already started apologizing and giving credits. I’m just jealous of those people that got one.)
- is it just unbelievable that a person can post a bunch of absolute nothing, give it a name, and call it a post?
You deserve so much more, dear readers. (And I say this with my sincerest Steve-Jobs-Apple-apology face.)
I’m adding this in case you miss it in the comments. Please have pizza for dinner. Here’s why. By the way, Kate, you rock.
Oh, one more thing before I go. You’ll remember Amy, who all of you were so kind to a few weeks ago when her mom passed away. Today’s her birthday, and it would be great if you would drop by and visit her and wish her a happy day!!!

I LOVE that commercial.
I can see the headlines now: Popcorn kills; Reddenbacher held…

Microwave popcorn is one of those things that when I smell it, I really really really want it. After I get it, its never quite what I want it to be.
Movie popcorn, on the other hand…..

That 5th one, do you mean me or you?
Early adopters don’t really want to be. They may have had a point this time though. Gates would have told them to kiss his Zune.

Hey, I’m always a big appreciator of randomness… mind if I toss in a little more. There’s reason to have a party tonight – look here: http://katesaid.wordpress.com/2007/09/07/pizza-party/ .
Just don’t put any popcorn on the pizza and we should all be safe.
Well, now that I think of it, I also don’t think we should put any Paris Hilton on the pizza. But that’s personal preference, I suppose.

I love that commercial, too. How stupid, stupid, stupid, were we not to take Reggie? The Texans still suck, even after finally getting rid of Carr.

I did both and I’m happy to say, I’m having pizza and cake tonight! It’s impossible not to love you, you know.

I think the term “po’ boy” is likely patently offensive. And, on behalf of anybody who really does find it offensive, I am offended.
But didn’t it look tasty?
And boo on you for directing me, a Bears fan, to a commercial starring Peyton Manning.
And just WHAT were they implying by bringing that cow into the room?
And I will look at any photograph or video of Paris Hilton exposing herself or engaging in sexual depravity. I think I am not the only one. her parents must be so proud of how she wears the name.
And through which hoop must I jump in order to be included on your required reading list?

Oops! Saw it JUST as I hit the “Submit” button! yes, I’m a dufus.
Thanks Wordnerd!

Yes, Farrago, and you have been there quite a while, by the way! However, admitting you are a bears fan (non-capitalization totally on purpose) might just get you deleted from it! 😉

Thanks for the traffic, WN… it’s a good day.
I’m not a fan of emoticons as a general rule… they seem to undermine all the words I can spew instead. But, for you, 🙂 . Thanks.

Oh, I am totally having pizza tonight–how heartwarming! As far as Paris being likeable? Sorry, but that is just too impossible for my mind to even consider…

Sigh! What do I say here?
That Michele sent me? Well, she did!
September 7, 2007 at 2:48 pm
I cannot stand Peyton Manning! That commercial cracked me up. Are you going to the game at tomorrow night??
September 7, 2007 at 6:07 pm
Michele sent me to see what you’ve been up to….
I hadn’t seen the commercial – I have a dvr so I don’t see too many commercials. Pretty funny- even for a non- football fan like myself.
Saw the popcorn thing- too scary- next Water will cause bloating- oh wait!
September 7, 2007 at 7:43 pm
Hello, Michele sent me! I love the commercial! It is funny!!!
It does get kind of tiring seeing what up next to harm or kill us – heck if we believed it all – we would starve to death!
Have a great week-end….

I loved the commercial! Enjoyed reading the rest..but I will certainly try to eat pizza for supper tomorrow as its to late here now for that…I am new to your blog so I didn’t know of Eric’s story…Bravo to him and his family…what a wonderful story…

I love those commercials. I hope LSU does a better job tonight then the Saints did the other night, sheesh.
September 8, 2007 at 10:42 am
That won’t be hard to do, Sparky!
September 10, 2007 at 8:50 am
No one could make Paris more appealing. As much as Victoria looks like an ant with a big head and bug eyes in those glasses she is hard not to notice. And I love her hair. At least she is a mom and a wife and does charity.
We were lucky, the iPhones are worthless in this rural area so I didn’t even have to be tempted.

That video is the funniest thing EVER!
