Well, the Christmas decorations are down, obviously. But now comes the job of taking the rest down. You know, the LSU stuff. I still have a fullsize LSU tree up, which I wanted to leave up until after the championship game. I have a perpetual luck candle (bought at Marie Leveau’s voodoo shop in the French Quarter) which burned through each game. There are other items throughout the house which will now be put away for another year. And there are the football references here at the Jambalaya site. Gone is the header. Gone is the ticker counting down to the big game.
And gone are football posts. Try not to get too emotional, people.
Now.
What the hell do I write about?

Yeah, Tiff, but those pictures were of a wee little tree. The one THIS year is a seven-footer. And you’d get pics of it if my camera didn’t suck like Ohio State.

And Angela? Now might be a good time to show Tiff your wedding pics.

Marie Leveau. Love the voodoo shop. My husband is a poop about it, though. We didn’t make it there last time we were doing the Big Easy. Next time.

May I suggest you take a look at the lolcat site? There’s this site see and people take pictures of cats. Yes cats. They then caption the photos of the cats with funny phrases as if the cats wrote the caption themselves! It’s really funny and enjoyable. I hear it’s a popular site too.
You know, you could get a cat, take pictures and participate!!! Something for the whole Werdnerd fambily to enjoy.
I’m here to help.

I’ve always wanted an LSU tree and a Mardi Gras Tree.
Which brings me to your next topic to write about….
Mardi Gras, of course.

Now Wordnerd . . we might have Kangaroo and Koala crossing signs but you do realise how totally cool it is to live in a state that has a ’straight’ Mardis Gras (ours is very Gay and Lesbian!) and a Voodoo Shop! Just so you know!
