Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!! Take No Prisoners, you purple clad Tigers. Steely Les Miles and his boys are in.
There is no doubt Florida is out.
Perfect photoshop work by someone, Wordnerd. Unless he really did execute the Florida team afterwards…, might as well, it would be the humane thing to do.
I’m happy for you, a terrific game, one you could have enjoyed if only you knew in advance how it would turn out, as it was, you had to have been a nervous wreck. I was.
Helluva a game, my friend. Your boys almost gave me as many heart attacks as my own tend to do, week in and week out. I assume you’ve seen the new polls? At least we’re back in the top 10. How much does it suck that Rutgers and Louisville (our two biggest in conference foes) have decided to take concurrent dives out of all rankings known to man just before we get around to playing them?
Honey, you have no idea. I don’t think my heart rate is down to normal yet. I’ve seen the polls, and I’m elated AND terrified at the same time. We have a lot of football ahead of us. But we’ll do it. Just hopefully with a little more breathing room than Saturday night.
But all that aside, HOW ‘BOUT DEM TIGERS????????? HELL YEAH!
I hate that your opponents are dropping — that just totally screws up the SOS rankings for the BCS. Oh well – you’re there, and you’re just a one-loss team, so anything can happen!!!!
Oh My GAWD! One of the best games I have ever been to. Ranks up there with beating Tennessee in overtime back in 2000(?). I am sore, hoarse, and tired but I got to see dem Tigers beat dem Gators and that’s all that matters for right now! Love the pic.
OMG!!! I LOVE Jacob Hester. He’s my hero Tim Tebow cried at the end- did you see that? I didn’t even feel sorry for him after all his taunting. I was in Ruffino’s today and heard some stories!
I’m just on top of the world with this win. GEAUX TIGERS!
Yeah, no tears here for Mr. Tebow. You reap what you sow, buddy. I didn’t realize they stomped on “the eye” until this morning when I read it in the paper. Tebow needs a couple of teaspoons of humility in his morning protein drink, methinks.
That having been said, that was one hell of a game! I kept flipping back and forth. I am afraid to see where we are in the rankings. I know it is going to be bad.
I hate to disagree with the wordnerd for a couple of reasons. I both hate Florida and like LSU (when we aren’t playing them), but Les Miles cemented his place in the lucky bonehead hall of fame on Saturday night. I am elated that LSU won, but at least 2 of the 4th down calls were the wrong calls to make. Miles was like a monkey pushing buttons late in the game. Granted all of the lame brained “go for it on 4th down” calls worked out for him, but down 3 with what amounts to an extra point FG to tie and send the game to overtime at night in Baton Rouge is a no-brainer and a guaranteed win. LSU dodged a bullet and overcame bad coaching to win. Happens to the best of us. Tennessee has been overcoming bad coaching for at least half a decade, but don’t mistake the Tiger’s success with superior coaching ability.
Well, Griff, I wouldn’t take chances like that on a regular basis, but Miles had a feeling about the team, and the evening, and him holding all the right cards. Meyer made some boneheaded decisions as well — he didn’t work the clock — but it all came out okay in the end.
Yeah, Shoe, after pregame warmups some of the classy UF players went out and stomped on the “Eye of the Tiger” midfield. Referees ran them off, but didn’t penalize them like they did Auburn a few years back. Jackasses.
My Lord but that was a stressful game… and we couldn’t watch the middle of it, so we just kept downloading updates on my phone! Glad we pulled it out in the end though, and Colby and I are going to ask Jacob Hester to join us in a three way marriage.

My husband is as straight as they come, obviously, but I think he’s having dirty thoughts about Jacob.
No — I didn’t buy them, yet. But I’m gonna. Because I gotta.
