I came over from Zoot’s. I see you in the comments and thought I would drop by.

Wouldn’t ya know the very first thing I read was about LSU? Wanna guess who MY team is?! And has been since I was a small girl-child?!

USC.

I laughed and laughed. I was PISSED they were dropped to number two. I expected it after last weeks game, but I was still mad!

Yep. This is the first time we’ve been ranked 1st DURING THE SEASON since 1959. We received a #1 post season ranking in 2003, when we won the BCS Championship.

Not the same thing. But, 1959 was the year of the Century, it seems.
